Privacy Policy
Leadwig helps dealerships manage inquiries and customer conversations. This page explains what information the service uses and how to reach us about it.
Who this policy covers
This policy covers the Leadwig website and dealership workspace. A dealership using Leadwig decides how to handle its own customer relationships and is responsible for the information it sends to the service. Leadwig processes that information to provide the workspace and communication features to the dealership.
Notice at Collection
When you request a trial, we collect your name, work email address, phone number, optional message, your acknowledgment of this policy, and limited request data used to prevent abuse. We use these details to respond, arrange the trial, and protect the form. We do not sell or share this information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We keep trial requests while needed to follow up, administer a requested account, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations; you may ask us to delete a request that is no longer needed at [email protected].
Read the rest of this policy for other categories collected through the dealership service, our providers, and your privacy choices.
Information we receive
- Dealership and account details: names, business contact details, roles, sign-in information, and settings.
- Customer inquiries: names, email addresses, phone numbers, vehicle interests, lead source, messages, notes, and appointment details that a dealership or lead source sends to Leadwig.
- Service activity: message delivery records, account activity, usage records, and technical logs needed to operate and protect the service.
- Questions sent to us: the contact details and message you provide when asking for a trial or support.
How we use information
We use this information to receive and organize dealership inquiries, display conversation and vehicle context, send and receive messages when a channel is connected, manage appointments, support accounts, prevent misuse, and maintain the service. When a dealership enables AI assistance, relevant inquiry and conversation content may be sent to the configured AI provider to prepare a response under the dealership's settings.
Messages and future SMS
We may email or call a person who requests a Leadwig trial to respond to that request. Submitting the trial form does not consent to marketing text messages. SMS for dealership customer conversations is not active in the current pilot. Before a dealership uses SMS through Leadwig, it must identify a lawful basis for each type of message, provide required disclosures and consent where applicable, keep consent records, and honor opt-out requests. We will provide a way to stop messages, including recognized replies such as STOP, before enabling automated SMS. A dealership remains responsible for the accuracy of its customer contact and consent information.
Service providers and sharing
We use service providers for website delivery and security, email delivery and support, and AI assistance when a dealership enables it. Website and security providers may process IP addresses and technical request data. Email providers process the addresses and message content needed to deliver or receive a message. An AI provider may process the inquiry, vehicle details, and conversation context needed to prepare a response. We limit these disclosures to the services described here. Customer information is accessible to authorized users of the relevant dealership and Leadwig personnel who need access to operate or support the service. We may also disclose information when required by law.
We do not use dealership customer lists for Leadwig's own advertising. We do not sell customer information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and security
The dealership workspace uses a sign-in session cookie. Hosting and security services may process IP addresses and technical request information to deliver and protect the site. We use access controls and other safeguards appropriate to the service, and restrict dealership records by account permissions.
How long information is kept
We keep information while it is needed to operate a dealership account, provide the requested service, resolve issues, and meet applicable legal obligations. A dealership can ask us to remove its account data. Some records may need to be retained for security, billing, or legal reasons; we review those needs when handling a deletion request.
Your privacy choices
You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with you by emailing [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before acting. If your inquiry was sent to a dealership, that dealership may need to handle the request directly; we will help route it. California residents may have additional rights under applicable law, including rights to know, correct, delete, and opt out of a sale or sharing of personal information. We do not discriminate against anyone for exercising privacy rights.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date below shows when this version took effect. For privacy questions or requests, contact [email protected] or call +1 (818) 697-0706.
Effective date: October 11, 2026.
